We’ve partnered with The Trussell Trust – the UK’s largest Food Bank charity – to help stop hunger and fight poverty in the UK.
Supporting a nationwide network of more than 1,300 food banks, The Trussell Trust provides emergency food and support to people locked in poverty, and campaign for change to end the need for food banks in the UK.
As their chosen corporate travel partner, Gray Dawes are supporting the work of the Trussell Trust by providing FREE travel management services AND each of our six UK offices arrange monthly food donations and volunteering from our fabulous staff.

What the Trussell Trust Does
It isn’t right that anyone should be left hungry or living in extreme poverty. But whilst The Trussell Trust work for long-term change, their network of food banks provides emergency food and compassionate, dignified support to people locked in crisis.
The charity supports a nationwide network of food banks and together they provide emergency food and support to people facing hardship, and campaign for change to end the need for food banks in the UK
How Food Banks Work
The Trussel Trust in action
Their network of more than 1,300 food bank centres in the UK provide a minimum of three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food to people who have been referred, as well as support and advice to help people maximise their incomes and lift themselves out of poverty.
The Trussell Trust recognise that ending hunger is about more than food. They support and encourage their food banks to provide compassionate, practical support to people in crisis to tackle the root causes that lock people into poverty and build people’s resilience so they are less likely to need a food bank in the future.

FOOD BANK SUPPORT

Each month, Gray Dawes staff volunteer for and donate to the Trussell Trust. All the money is collected by our charity volunteers in each of our offices – London, Manchester, Colchester, Leeds, Ediburgh and Leamington Spa – who then place an online shopping order with a local supermarket and arrange to have the groceries delivered directly to the Trussell trust food bank in their area.
Rather than just handing over a cheque each month, by doing the shopping ourselves, we’re able to ensure the food banks are getting exactly what they need, while allowing us to keep in touch on a personal level with each local charity.

Whether our wonderful Gray Dawes staff are bakers or an adrenaline junkies, we are always super keen to take on an active challenge in support of our charity partner, The Trussell Trust.
