They serve homemade pizza from a wood fired oven, freshly made pasta and other classic Italian cuisine, however the pizza is their specialty. This can also be a great place to go after exploring the San Diego zoo, as it is only around 2 miles away. You may have to make a reservation in advance as it gets quite busy, however it is certainly worth it especially when you consider the pricing as well, which is very reasonable. ALTITUDE Sky Lounge- This classy rooftop bar is one of the best places to experience on a trip to San Diego, it overlooks the iconic Gaslamo District and has some great panoramic views and modern atmosphere. It offers all the drinks you could want with quality wine, beer and cocktails all available. You can watch the sun set over the harbour and the glistening skyline while sipping on a drink of your choice. The bar opens at 5pm and opens early for Padre games on Sundays and Thursdays, so you can enjoy the baseball from the rooftop vantage point that’s available. If you’re hungry then the bar serves food such as flatbreads, burgers and more. This sky lounge offers so much that it seems like a no brainer if you want a place for a nice relaxed drink and possibly something to eat.
