GRAY DAWES GROUP

joins the Movember mo-vement

We are proud to announce that this year the Gentlemen of Gray Dawes Group will be growing facial furniture for the month of November, in support of Movember. Movember, for those who haven’t heard of them, are a leading charity working to change the face of men’s health.

Their causes include mental health and suicide prevention, as well as medical research and support for victims of prostate cancer and testicular cancer.

The Rules

Those taking part are aptly named ‘Mo Bros’ and there are 5 simple rules each Mo Bro must follow for the month:

1. Each Mo Bro must begin the 1st of Movember with a clean-shaven face

2. For the entire month of Movember each Mo Bro must grow and groom a moustache

3. They’re not allowed to fake it. That means no beards, no goatees and no fake moustaches!

4. Our Mo Bros will be harnessing the power of the moustache to create conversation and raise funds for men’s health.

5. Each Mo Bro must conduct himself like a true gentlemen… as Gray Dawes always does.

Our Team

Movember was launched back in 2003 and initially had 30 Mo Bros. The mo-vement has since grown to over 6 million worldwide. With such a great cause, it wasn’t difficult for us to find willing volunteers who wanted to make a difference for men’s health.

We have 24 Gray Dawes Mo Bros who are willing to seize the mo-ment and put their razors down for a whole month. You can meet our Dynamic Two Dozen, one hair at a time, right here.

Our Target

Through different fundraising initiatives we set ourselves the target of raising £1,000 by the end of the November. But with just three days in we’ve already smashed that. So, in true Captain Tom style, we’re hoping the sky’s the limit!

Our Mo Bros are currently putting their tashes together and coming up with a new target. You can track our progress here via the Gentlemen of Gray Dawes Group Movember donations page.

This Is Our Mo-Ment

Movember has already funded more than 1,250 men’s health projects around the world, motivating men to take action for their health, and employers have an important role to play.

With COVID-19 impacting early diagnosis and treatment of illnesses such as cancer and lockdown having a significant effect on mental health, now more than ever we want to help where we can/ Movember allows us to do that.

If you would like to support men’s health for all the dads, brothers, sons and mates out there you can donate here. We’ll also be updating our Gray Dawes Movember Webpage here each week with selfies of our proud nose underlines in a Rogue’s Fantashtic Gallery.

To help you navigate the changes of business travel, we’ve created the brand-new Traveller Toolkit. This invaluable online resource is packed full of easy-to-use guides and checklists for every stage of every journey. We detail exactly what you need to know and do before, during and after your trip.

You’ll also find innovative and interactive virtual trips, which walk you through each step of  being at the airport, on the train and in the hotel. You can even check the travel restrictions and health status of your destination with our comprehensive COVID-19 Country Tracker, updated five times daily to ensure you have the very latest information to help keep you and your travellers safe.

Travel is changing. But with common sense and a good TMC behind you, travellers should have the confidence to once again take to the skies. It’ll soon be business as (un)usual.
