OUR RECRUITMENT PROCESS
Tell us about yourself, your skills and experience, and talk about why you’d like to work at Gray Dawes.
All our recruitment is done through LinkedIn, so you’ll find it easy to include your CV and to draw our attention to your previous experiences. But please be sure to tailor your application to us!
We’ll acknowledge your application straight away, and keep you updated on your progress.
Once our HR Team has completed an initial assessment, they’ll send your application to the hiring manager who will review the details within the application and ascertain whether it’s a match.
If you make it through to interview, you may meet several people and there may be multiple stages, but we’ll always be upfront about the process.
We want you to be relaxed and at your best in our interviews. If there’s anything you’d especially like us to ask you about, or any parts of the interview you dread, let us know.
If we think you’d be great at Gray Dawes, we’ll make an offer and iron out any details specific to the role.
If we don’t think you’ll fit in right away, we’ll tell you why. Some people have taken our advice and come back a year later and got a job.

Vic sets up our internal apprenticeship meetings monthly, where all the apprentices meet to discuss different topics each month, any questions we have – and to update her on where we are on our course.
Having a field of support like this is vital for a company, especially from an apprentice viewpoint, when you are coming in effectively blind into the company and workplace. It is very easy for companies, especially when taking on apprentices , to become solely transactional based but Gray Dawes embodies the transformational approach.”
