Middle East Travel Update

Tensions in the region remain elevated following the initial military action and subsequent retaliatory activity. As a result, airspace restrictions, airport operational limitations and short-notice airline schedule changes continue to impact travel to, from and within parts of the Middle East. Several carriers are maintaining temporary suspensions, re-routing services around restricted airspace, or operating reduced schedules as a precaution.

What This Means for Travel

  • Ongoing flight cancellations and delays across impacted airspace
  • Continued re-routing of long-haul services that typically transit the region
  • Short-notice operational changes as airlines respond to security and government directives
  • Heightened airport security and potential ground-side disruption in certain locations

This remains a fluid and fast-moving situation, with updates issued frequently and sometimes at very short notice.
