Marketing Executive

The Marketing Executive will be responsible for assisting in the planning, execution, and evaluation of marketing strategies across the corporate leisure and groups and incentives travel divisions. This role will bridge local and global marketing efforts, ensuring alignment with company goals while adapting campaigns to suit the Australian (and later the Asia Pacific) market.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Support 

  • Assist in developing and executing the marketing plan for the Australian market, ensuring alignment with global objectives. 
  • Support the creation of marketing materials, including eDMs, content pieces, website landing pages (WordPress), social media posts, promotional campaigns and associated assets using the on-brand templates and adhering to corporate style guides. 
  • Collaborate with the UK marketing team to localize global campaigns for Australian audiences. 

Digital Marketing 

  • Create, manage and schedule social media posts across platforms for each Gray Dawes brand, ensuring content is engaging and aligned with brand guidelines. 
  • Manager website updates, including landing pages (SEO optimisation when appropriate). 
  • Track digital campaign performance and provide analytics reports with actionable insights. 

Event & Campaign Coordination 

  • Support the planning and execution of marketing events such as expos, client workshops and webinars, and corporate roadshows. 
  • Coordinate promotional campaigns for seasonal offerings like early bird airfares, holiday packages, and group tours. 
  • Maintain strong relationships with external suppliers, including support resources and media agencies. 

Communication & Stakeholder Management 

  • Serve as the key liaison between the Australian offices and UK marketing team. 
  • Ensure internal stakeholders are informed of campaign progress and results. 
  • Work closely with sales teams to develop materials that align with client needs and market trends. 

Reporting & Analytics 

  • Prepare regular performance reports for campaigns, including ROI analysis and campaign improvement recommendations. 
  • Monitor competitor activities and industry trends, providing recommendations to enhance marketing strategies. 

Skills & Requirements

Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. 
  • 3–4 years of experience in a marketing role, ideally in travel or a related industry. 
  • Experience in B2B and B2C marketing preferred. 
  • Knowledge of the Australian travel market is advantageous. 
  • Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite) is a plus.
