Gray Dawes Brand Launches Down Under

MP Travel rebrand brings greater alignment across our global proposition

We’re delighted to announce the rebrand of MP Travel in Australia as we bring it into the core Gray Dawes Travel brand.

It marks an exciting chapter in Gray Dawes history and provides a glimpse into the future of its continuing global expansion. The rebrand brings MP Travel’s operations fully into the Gray Dawes Travel fold, for greater alignment and a richer global client experience.

We acquired MP Travel in January of this year as part of our strategic global growth plans.

When we acquired MP Travel, the purchase represented the company’s first international acquisition, an accolade that has now been repeated with Express Travel in the USA.

Suzanne Horner, CEO of Gray Dawes Group has stated:

“This is a really, really exciting time for us. Our expansion into Australia was the beginning of our global, follow-the-sun strategy. The core objective of which is to provide our clients and their travellers with a consistent experience whenever they could possibly need us. Whether that’s morning, evening or the middle of the night wherever they happen to be in the world. If they need support from their business travel team, they’ll receive the same incredible level of customer care and attention to detail. We’re always on, and always available. The rebrand of MP Travel to Gray Dawes Travel tightens that proposition even further, making for a clearer, more cohesive end-to-end client experience”

Horner says, “The rebrand marks not just the next step for our offering in Australia, but in realising our global strategy. We believe that the people that know their local markets the best are those that operate within it! Our global reach brings with it a wealth of client benefits, including incredible buying power, access to the very best technology and the shared knowledge gained by industry experts in each of their respective countries. But the way we deliver that service is with true local relevancy – understanding that what works well in one market might not work so well in another. We consistently keep our clients and their travellers at the heart of what we do to provide the best possible service for each of them, wherever they may operate from. It’s truly the best of both worlds.”

Lynn Manuel, joint Managing Director of MP Travel, commented:

“It’s been very exciting working with Suzanne and her team over the last six months. I’m thrilled for the opportunities that being part of the Gray Dawes brand will bring to our clients and colleagues.”

Joint MP Travel Managing Director, Kerri Primrose, added:

“We’ve found that there are so many synergies between the UK and Australian operations which has made this a very natural fit. By being part of the Gray Dawes brand we’re even stronger and we’ll be able to deliver a more cohesive experience to our staff and clients alike.”

The rebrand announcement comes after the recent news that Gray Dawes Travel has once again been shortlisted for the prestigious Business Travel Awards Europe 2023 in the categories of Travel Partner of the Year – Medium TMC, Account Management Team of the Year and Travel Partners of the Year – Meetings & Events.

We are super excited to welcome all our new colleagues and clients fully into the Gray Dawes family today, as we officially announce the rebrand.
