The new Board which is made up of 13 members from different Travel Management companies, has been created to ensure engagement with the next generation of leaders within the business travel sector. It’s objective is to see the industry flourish by reflecting the needs and views of everyone within it.
Clive Wratten, Chief Executive Officer, BTA, said “I am delighted to launch Generation BTA, a new community to be formed from within The Business Travel Association membership, made up of industry influencers, industry energisers and industry evolutionists. This community will work closely with the Executive Board & the Industry Partners Board in tackling the issues impacting the industry, in defining the future strategy of The BTA and ensuring a vibrant and sustainable business travel industry for future generations.”
The Generation BTA Board will work in groups to tackle issues, directly facing within the industry to bring about positive change.
“I’m really excited to bring a new and diverse perspective to the BTA and to the industry as a whole,” explains Sonam. “I believe my marketing experience will enable me to bring fresh ideas on how we can continue to educate and inspire a different audience about the industry, especially when attracting in new talent into business travel. I am also looking forward to learning from the other BTA members.”
