NAVO-top in Nederland: Wat zakelijke reizigers moeten weten
Van 24 tot en met 25 juni 2025 vindt in Den Haag de NAVO-top plaats – een diplomatiek hoogtepunt voor Nederland. Tijdens deze internationale bijeenkomst worden meer dan 8.500 gasten verwacht, waaronder staatshoofden, defensieministers en andere hoogwaardigheidsbekleders. Hoewel dit evenement het geopolitieke belang van Nederland onderstreept, brengt het ook aanzienlijke reisbeperkingen met zich mee, met name voor reizigers via Schiphol en binnen de Randstad.
Thailand digitaliseert grenscontrole: Introductie van de Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC)
Per 1 mei 2025 voert Thailand een belangrijke modernisering door in de grensprocedures. De traditionele papieren TM6-kaart wordt vervangen door de volledig digitale Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC). Deze digitale oplossing is bedoeld om de grenspassage te versnellen en de reiservaring voor internationale bezoekers te verbeteren — of zij nu per vliegtuig, over land of via zee aankomen.
