OUT OF HOURS CORPORATE TRAVEL CONSULTANT

MAIN PURPOSE

We’re currently looking to recruit experienced Corporate Travel Consultants who would like to work outside of normal business hours, working from home as part of the team providing a full travel management service to Gray Dawes Group clients primarily during the weekend and Bank Holidays – daytime and evening periods.

Location: Home based

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Relevant experience with a corporate travel management company of at least 3 years

Fully conversant with Travelport, and/or Sabre and Amadeus GDS is essential

Excellent fares knowledge

Ticketing expertise – understand & execute intricate international airline ticketing

Confidence in ticket reissues, exchanges, EMD’s

Knowledge of Marine Fares an advantage

Assisting customers in a professional and upbeat manner

Handle and overcome objections in a professional yet effective manner

Strong destination and geographical knowledge

KEY RESPONSIBILITES

Book and confirm flights, car, hotel, transfers, Eurostar, UK Rail and any third-party requirements for clients using Our GDS Travelport and in house booking tools.

Adhering and Policing Client profiles & policy’s

Document all actions undertaken accurately within PNR.

Log all calls details correctly for billing purposes.

Assisting customers in a professional and upbeat manner

Understand & execute intricate international airline ticketing

Retrieve and understand company BAR instructions

Basic knowledge of Visas, UK & European Airports and UK Rail system

Handle and overcome objections in a professional yet effective manner

Issuing and Reissuing Tickets. Creating EMD where applicable.

Liaise and Set up bill payments to hotels, arrange any billback issues.

Abide by the company’s service quality standards in carrying out these work duties, as well as the policies of both the client & company

Handover information at the start and end of each shift if required.

Assist with checking and adhering to quality check guidelines of all reservations.

Maintain a high level of professionalism and a positive attitude while performing work that is subject to critical time constraints.

In addition, the company will introduce other job duties for quiet times. You are required to maintain flexibility in learning newly introduced job skills and/or changing job duties.  (Travel Alerts – Online queue checks – day office emails)
