Economy Classic will now comprise of free seat assignment, whilst Economy Light will offer the lowest fare Virgin Atlantic can offer. This is essentially Virgin’s new version of a basic economy fare but with a new twist.
If customers are flying in economy then they will have access to in-flight entertainment, as well as a three-course meal plus drinks and snacks. All Economy seats now have a USB charging port and have the ability to use in flight Wi-Fi.
With these new seat classes available it will give customers a much wider choice of options to choose from, meaning travellers will essentially receive an upgrade without having to pay for the likes of Business Class or First Class.
