2018 has been an exciting and eventful year at Gray Dawes Group. With the New Year in sight, we wanted to take a look back at some of the highlights of our year and share with you some of our favourite moments of 2018.

The year got off to an exciting start, as we were joined by David Bishop as our new Commercial Director.

We announced our partnership with Maiden Voyage, the world’s leading specialist in female travel safety, as we were officially certified as a Female Friendly TMC.

Which allowed us to start sharing with you all top tips on how to travel safer when on a business trip – tips which have proved helpful for both men and women travellers!

After a year since joining the team, Rupert was officially appointed CMO – Chief Motivation Officer.

We helped you find more of a business travel/life balance.

We discovered the World’s Most Instagrammable travel destinations.

Our CEO Suzanne, was appointed as the People Strategy Group Chair by the GTMC.

Various members of the Gray Dawes team shared with you their personal recommendations for where to stay in London.

Our Commercial Director David Bishop joined a panel to discuss ‘Is it all about content for the TMC & corporate travel buyer?’ at the Aviation Festival.

We hosted our second event in London, as suppliers, clients and potential clients joined us for An Evening with Gray Dawes.

We spoke about the importance of mental health when travelling for business, and how to consider your own wellbeing.

Christine Clark joined as the new Head of our Leisure team, and GD Luxe was officially launched.

Our new Events Operations Manager Fiona Bool was awarded in the CN30 Under Thirty.

In November we were excited to announce the acquisition of Giles Travel into the Gray Dawes Group.

And finally, we were joined by Lesley Tyler in November, who joined the team as Head of Events Operations.

Thank you to all of our clients, suppliers, staff and associates for your support throughout 2018. We’re looking forward to 2019 and the new challenges and innovations that it will bring – both for the travel industry and Gray Dawes Group.
