It\u00a0is oftentimes seen as onerous, lengthy, never\u00a0really getting to the heart of the service\u00a0delivery and not fit for purpose. So, we will\u00a0aim to explore these components within\u00a0this paper and offer some best practice\u00a0guidelines about the why\u2019s and how\u2019s\u00a0involved in running a successful TMC RFP.<\/p>\n Since the onset of the global COVID\u00a0pandemic, a lot has changed within the travel\u00a0industry. All communities within the industry,\u00a0have had to learn to pivot and do it quickly.\u00a0Whereas previously it was always good\u00a0practice to have a plan B, it quickly became\u00a0the only practice to have a plan C, D & E!<\/p>\n The impact of COVID on corporate\u00a0travel practices has been significant, long\u00a0lasting and in some cases, permanent. As\u00a0businesses look to slowly return to travel,\u00a0there are key impacts and challenges to\u00a0their business requirements and objectives.\u00a0Some of those requirements may have\u00a0changed and adapted throughout this\u00a0period shifting from savings and cost driven\u00a0priorities to approval processes, traveller\u00a0safety and duty of care priorities.<\/p>\n There are likely to be more complex approval\u00a0processes than there were pre COVID for\u00a0example.
