They are considered less accurate and may provide false negatives.<\/p>\n At present, they are accepted in:<\/p>\n [\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][et_pb_row column_structure=”1_4,3_4″ admin_label=”Antibody Test” _builder_version=”4.6.1″ custom_padding=”55px|0px|55px|0px|true|false” use_custom_width=”on” collapsed=”on”][et_pb_column type=”1_4″ _builder_version=”3.25″ custom_padding=”|||” custom_padding__hover=”|||”][et_pb_text admin_label=”Antibody Test” _builder_version=”4.6.1″ _module_preset=”default” header_3_font_size=”30px”]<\/p>\n [\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=”3_4″ _builder_version=”3.25″ custom_padding=”|||” custom_padding__hover=”|||”][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.6.1″]<\/p>\n This test detects the presence of antibodies in the blood, which (if present) suggests that you may have been previously exposed to or infected with the virus. The test involves a blood sample from a finger prick test or standard blood test.<\/p>\n As stated by the FCO, \u201cit is not clear if being infected in the past means a person is immune and they cannot get infected with coronavirus again in the future.
