SCOPE OF ROLE
To Manage the Events & Groups Operations Team and oversee all aspects of service delivery
Overseeing event delivery for the division
Devising operational policies and procedures to increase performance levels
Line management and development of a team including appraisals and performance matters
Recruitment into the team
Daily organisation including resolving issues and leading internal meetings
Resource planning and project allocation for delivery and pitch documents
Financial management including budget sign off for projects
Supplier selection and coordination
Managing freelance resource
Supporting with onsite delivery when required
Key assistance in developing client briefs
Supporting on pitches when required
To ensure that all administration, both internal and external is of the highest standard.
To develop and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues in the appropriate offices.
To be able to work flexible hours when necessary.
To increase profitability and productivity of all projects
To ensure all invoicing and other aspects of finance is accurate and up to date.
To ensure all SLA’s and KPI’s are consistently met.

Strong administration, communication and attention to detail skills.
Ability to balance and effectively prioritise a heavy and pressured workload to meet deadlines.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
A minimum of three years of event management experience is a must.
A full understanding of the Cvent venue sourcing and event registration, or similar
Experience in using the Microsoft Office suite, Excel and Word in particular.
