Plan and prioritise sales activities and customer/prospect contact to achieve agreed sales targets and business objectives.
Identify and qualify new business opportunities. Generate and follow-up own leads to agreed targets and timescales. Meet potential new clients within agreed timescales.
Use customer and prospect CRM tools and systems to plan sales activity and ensure that these systems are kept up-to-date at all times.
Attend and present at external customer meetings and also at internal meetings.
Produce and maintain a detailed business and travel activity profile for all prospective new customers so that the potential business can be evaluated and, where appropriate, a full and accurate tender submitted.
Provide accurate and up-to-date information, relating to new clients and new business, to other departments within Gray Dawes to ensure that clients trade to their full potential.
Ensure that databases and management information is always up-to-date and accurate.
Produce routine and ad-hoc reports as required.
Work closely with Account Managers to ensure that existing accounts are maintained, sales maximised and targets met. Also work to ensure that the relationships are professionally maintained and developed.
